Focal points If your TV is a focal point better to place it in the center of the seating area. If not you can hide it or integrate on a unit such as a bookcase
Sound systems Place speakers around a seatings. Put the seating to make audio waves spread to the center. Example attached in the gallery.
And don't forget to locate the closest power source to the place where you want to put a TV!
